2023 LENT SERIES

Inspired by the biblical theme of the crucifixion of Jesus, I captured the essence of Lent through graphic images. One particular Bible verse that resonated deeply with me during this process was Isaiah 1:18: "Come now, let us reason together, says the Lord: though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red like crimson, they shall become like wool." This powerful verse became the foundation for my artistic exploration, as it encapsulated the need for God's intervention and grace in our struggle and brokenness that sin brings into our lives.
